Ricos Tacos - Yreka

This restaurant offers a genuinely authentic Mexican dining experience. As of October 20, 2023, the food was excellent, and the salsa was particularly noteworthy. For my lunch, I enjoyed the meal in-house, and the price per person ranged from $1 to $10. I would rate the food and service both a 5 out of 5, while the atmosphere received a 3.

The food here is genuinely authentic Mexican, which really brought back memories of my time in Mexico. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The decor is also quite lovely.

I'm solely focusing on the street-style tacos offered here, and they're outstanding! Authentic flavors! The crispy, charred pork al pastor, juicy and tender carnitas, and quite good carne asada really impressed me. When the server asked if I wanted salsa, she brought me an entire mini salsa bar—what a nice surprise! I initially thought it might be a generic spot since it was located next to a gas station on Google Maps, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 3.

I've been visiting Ricos since it was just a taco truck, and I absolutely love this place! Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.

Good food, great prices ! The green sauce was excellent. Not great on decor but they make up for it with lots of dish choices and good service, and with relaxed atmosphere I'll definitely be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
