Walked in and kind of stood around ... no signs or staff to guide you to a table. Eventually the bartender told us grab a table. We sat a while at the table. No one came over, not even to give us a menu. Eventually we got up. Got a drink and menus from the bar. Sat back down. The waitress served food to the table behind us. Never came to us. She came back to give them ketchup or something. Again, didn 't come to us. When another group came in and sat down, we said to each other if they get waited on before us, we 're out . Sure enough, she came right over to them. We were there a total of 30 mins. Never again. Waste of time and gas. Was welcomed and served great food and drinks a few minutes away at Bandanas!
New owners with a great menu. You have to try their Reuben logs, home made and delicious. Everything we tried was a hit. The burgers,Gut Bomb, wings , fingers wraps and salads. Service was great. On Main Street in Youngstown in an old historic building. You can sit on a wrap around porch or inside. Nothing fancy just a neat old building. They even have rooms to rent upstairs.
My wife and I went on a Sunday afternoon. It's a cool place but the food was incredible. I ordered a beef on weck and it was really good. And very reasonably priced too.
I experienced a few perfect nights at the stone jug with my family while visiting Youngstown. Everything from the ambiance, to the food, and the service couldn't have been better. A few highlights was having entertainment in the backyard. Each night I came here they had phenomenal entertainers. Another highlight was the food...The sweet potatoes fry's, buffalo chicken wings, and the chicken tenders were some of our favorites ! In addition, they have a few games indoors like darts and a table shuffle board. Outside they have connect 4 and Jenga! It is the perfect place to grab some drinks, a good bite, and hangout with friends and family!
Reading the previous reviews I have to say I see both sides of the views. We walked in at 12:35 on a Wed. Only 3 men eating at the bar. Waited 10 mins. for anyone to acknowledge our presence. We walked in didn't know what to do! So, we just sat at a table waited. When the bartender came out from the kitchen he immediately brought over menus took drink orders. Food came out in reasonable time was hot very good. Only 2 more men came in during our hour there. Obviously locals! The high season for tourism has not started here. That happens in late June. Maybe they are more on the ball then. Or maybe, they really don't care just cater to locals they know the drill. I can see this place as a hot spot on weekends for locals! Also possible like everyone else, they are short staffed?
