The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It was only a short drive from Helen, but definitely worth the trip. Highly enjoyable.

Chelsea is hands down one of the best servers I have ever had, and this is now my favorite spot in Hiawassee! The food and drinks are consistently amazing, and the atmosphere caters to all. I highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone visiting Hiawassee for a memorable dining experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner.

The restaurant offers delicious food, but unfortunately they do not work with any delivery services or have their own delivery option, which is inconvenient for those unable to visit the restaurant in person. Despite this drawback, the food is exceptional and worth trying even without the option of delivery.

Never been here but the fact that ownership doesn't respond to and address the negative reviews tells me all I need to know... Think I'll pass on this one.

Ten local ladies made a reservation for 5 pm. The table was ready and the bartender was nice. There were about eight other people there at the bar and pool table. The service was very slow. Meals were served about 15 minutes a part. If you even got your meal. There were 3 orders of fish tacos with two orders having no fish in them. When we expressed concern about the delay we were told there was only one cook and bartender on duty. Very poor service and food. The name Hide Away should be Run Away....don't go there.
