Vista Lanes Bowling Center - Yorkville

The interior is reasonably clean, and the games are affordable. I played three games of bowling but had to switch lanes because lane 20 was malfunctioning, and it turned out lane 19 wasn't working either. An older employee came by slowly but kindly to address the issues we encountered during our games, but after the third malfunction, he disappeared. From then on, we just played without having the correct number of pins. I didn't ask for a refund; I felt a bit sorry for the establishment. I just hope they can survive after COVID and manage to repair their equipment.

I play pool here from time to time. The menu is a bit limited in the summer, but the tables are good. In the winter months, the food selection expands. They also have a great variety of beers!

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the couple who owns the place seems genuinely nice, putting in a lot of effort to keep everything clean and tidy. As a reviewer, I would note that their drink prices are slightly on the higher side, but they’re not unreasonable. Overall, Vista is a quiet, family-run establishment that offers a relaxing atmosphere with plenty of parking. I plan to return during my stay and would recommend it to my friends on tour who are looking for a private spot to shoot some pool and enjoy some bowling as well!

It's still a fantastic place, but it could use a makeover to truly shine!

I visited the restaurant with the new tenant, and my experience was disappointing. The food was poorly prepared and not cooked properly, and I was also charged for an item I didn't order.
