The Buttery Restaurant - York

Very friendly place. Good portions and good for quality. Don't expect service to be speedy though. Coffee not the best in town. Clean and homey place.

My favourite restaurant in Newmarket for years. Sunday brunch is always a hit with the kids, and their holiday menus are special every year.

Determined to try somewhere else, to the breakfast and the buttery came on my search. I enjoyed eating. it was a good part where I felt good and was not excessively full. the speck was perfectly cooked, the eggs had a very nice taste. the staff was friendly and the food was quickly served. I'm sure I'll come back.
