Big Daddy's Rest - York

Eating was good, the staff is friendly and comforting. overall the restaurant is cozy and the eating tastes quite decent. I recommend:

Had for the first time at big daddys dinner with the children. Eat was really good - I had the eier benedikt and some had the leber and wobble. service was exceptionally warm and friendly. nice place.

Breakfast was extremely greassy,Bacon was all fat, could not eat at all, was not impressed, not well worth what ever. much better possibilities around the surface

Eating and service are both great and the prices are very reasonable. it is not a beautiful place, but the staff is very friendly and eating is hearty and tasty.

The food was good. The service was good. When we were there it seemed very dark although my companion said it was much lighter than a prior visit to that restaurant. Menu extensive, diner type food. Looked like the bar at the back was busier...than the restaurant front of the building but at least the bar noise did not carry into the restaurant portion.
