Bangkok Thai Cuisine - York

Decided on take out one night and went for Thai at this place. It was mouth watering, delicious and fresh!

My friend and I went there today again as we often do and it certainly did not disappoint. We strayed a little from the usual things we ordered and we were very pleased with the result. We started with sharing an order of crispy chicken spring rolls and then shared the papaya salad and it was so delicious. We asked for it to be spicy and it was and the waitress offered some complimentary shrimp chips which came with a creamy peanut sauce. The chips and the peanut sauce were great and helped cool down our mouths. My friend then had the bamboo squid as a main course and I had the mixed seafood which again I requested to be spicy. Both dishes looked beautiful when they arrived, I loved the spiciness and the variety of seafood in my dish and my friend was very happy with her squid. After slowly sipping some green tea, we shared the mango ice cream for dessert. The service was so friendly and excellent and she did not rush us at all. Another memorable meal.

Stopped in to pick up dinner after reading the positive reviews. I have to say that I was disappointed. I ordered crispy fried tofu with peanut sauce. It was not at all crispy and having to pay extra for the peanut sauce I was expecting more than a tablespoon of sauce. The yellow chicken curry was good but more curry sauce than chicken and potato. The spring rolls were very small but good. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. The young man who served me was very polite.

Have had from this restaurant on many occasions. I found it great in the past, but just not as tasty tonight. Still good though. Lovely and clean restaurant. A wee bit on the pricey side. Staff very friendly. Definitely worthwhile and I'll be back.

We enjoyed the family meal at this restaurant. Pad Thai is excellent. Oh, stop. No MSG ADDAED! Wow. Good choice
