We came for drinks only. Service was friendly but the drinks were very underwhelming. 2 flavored margaritas which were pre mixed, too sweet with syrup, and very weak with very little alcohol.Won't be back.

The lunch menu prices are absolutely phenomenal for the amount of food you get and everything is so delicious. The carnitas burrito and the burrito Texano especially. Outside the lunch menu though, they are VERY expensive. Almost $15 for table side guacamole is wild. Their free chips, salsa and weird white dip they give are not good at all. We don’t even eat them. We will definitely stick to going for lunch though!

Been here a few times only because its the closest thing to real Mexican food in the York area. But it's not good enough for to really be called authentic Mexican food. I lived in SoCal for 40 years and we had a Mexican restaurant on almost every street corner in San Bernardino due to the high population of Hispanics in the city (60% . So one thing we were able to take for granted out there was authentic Mexican food, and secondly Peruvian food. Plaza Azteca only does a mediocre job of seasoning their foods, including the guacamole that is made right at your table, which is just a shameful ploy to extort additional food tip monies from the customers. Avocados are $2/kilo wholesale, but the menu price $10 tip to the employee making the guacamole tableside has us paying about 1000% profit on that $2 worth of avocados. It's also frustrating when your table needs service, yet the employees are usually clustered at the front reception desk, and sometimes even in the restaurant area, carrying on personal conversations in front of the customers instead of servicing their customers.

I ate here tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday with my parents. Our waiter was excellent! He was patient with us looking over the menu and happy to provide recommendations. After our meal was finished we were in the middle of a conversation and instead of rushing us out he let us take our time to finish our drinks and conversation. Each one of us enjoyed our meals and margaritas! Thanks for a nice evening. ?

Food is just okay. You can find worse Mexican food, you can find better. Our specific server didn't write our order down which I get nervous with. My nerves proved true as my wife received the wrong dinner twice.They have 10 or so different margaritas. That's great..... but, for some reason, they have no description of them on the menu. We had to hold up the server by asking what each one was and the differences. If she didn't know, she had to go ask someone. That is just bad menu layout and wastes the servers valuable time. PUT THE DESCRIPTION OF SPECIALTY DRINKS ON THE MENU!The place is the epitome of average.
