If I could give it 10 stars I would. This was a spur of the moment booking very late on due to work overrun. The staff could not have been more helpful even getting the chef to cook off the lunch menu at 7.30pm. I felt extremely cherished. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

My 7 year old son had the door shut in his face by the manager. She said it was too cold and he peeked in to look at it. The junior manager, who was south Asian, was quite nice and complementary at his curious mind. (Our ghost tour mentioned grays court). But then this woman came up and pushed him out and shut the door. Very rude. I would have stayed there too! We literally were there for 30 seconds and only came because we confused the hotel for the treasurers house. Not kid friendly.

Gorgeous historic building. Loved our Edwards room. Perfect location. Great breakfast service. Something simple on the menu for late evenings would be a good add. Wish we could have taken better advantage of the all-night bar! Extremely courteous staff! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
