China Inn - York

Many believe that Chinese food in the UK is not authentic, but this restaurant has proven them all wrong. The dishes here taste just like home and are incredibly delicious! I tried the black pepper beef with fried rice, which was delivered hot and with generous portions. I would definitely visit this place again, 10/10!

The food at this restaurant is consistently amazing. I have visited many places around York, but I always find myself returning here because I am always impressed.

Thought this place had turned itself around, fish and chips for 3, friday tea time, its now Saturday tea time, just finished buildind a shed with the chips, and using the grease off the fish as swarfega.

We have recently discovered the China Inn and I cannot fault it. Really good tastey food, the big juicy king prawns in their dishes are delicious! The chips are amazing, proper chip shop chips. We get it delivered to Leeman Road area and it's always on time and piping hot. The delivery man is lovely, so polite. We won't use any other takeaway now. Very happy customers.

Chinese takeaways that open on a lunchtime are becoming rare and I was delighted when I found this one. The food is very nice, the chips are chunky with a great taste and the pancake rolls, are well filled and tasty. I must try the fish and hot dog sausages which apparently are great!
