200 Degrees Coffee - York

Nice central place part of a chain that has a few vegan options including cakes. All are bought in but are very nice the carrot cake is wonderful. They do a good sausage roll also. Some of the other offerings could easily be made vegan as they're only one minor ingredient off so that would open those to a wider market. I can see why people have given this 4 stars but for great restaurants that also serve a lot of vegan options being 4 stars this place simply can't be held in the same regard so for me it's three stars at the most for that reason

Polite staff who bring the coffee over to your table, which is lovely. Alternative milks (soya, coconut and oat) were available (slightly more expensive) and the coffees were well made. About 7 different types of baked goods available, of which two were vegan chocolate brownie and apricot croissant

Really great coffee and atmosphere, perfect for meeting with friends or learning...has some lush vegan options for Christmas!

Had a coffee and carrot cake that was really good! Wooden tables and lounge music made it a place to come to rest after a York walk.
