The customer service was very disappointing. I had to wait a long time for my order, and the person at the counter was quite rude.

ZERO STARS!! I have been a customer of En Lai Chinese Kitchen for 35 years. It used to be a charming family-run establishment, but it has changed significantly in recent years. The quality of the food has worsened, and the service, which was once excellent, has now become disrespectful and careless. They frequently get the deliveries wrong, and when they make mistakes, they show no remorse or concern. I recommend finding another place to eat!

En Lai is a typical small Chinese fast food restaurant without dine-in seating. They excel at some dishes, while others are just okay. I really enjoy their beef and chicken with broccoli. However, the barbecue spare ribs could use more meat, tenderness, and sauce, so I prefer the boneless ribs instead. The restaurant gets quite busy during mealtimes, with a constant flow of customers, so it's a good idea to plan ahead and call for delivery or takeout during peak lunch and dinner hours. They have the standard two woks for cooking main dishes and one for frying rice. Sometimes, their seasoning can be heavy-handed or inconsistent, but you can request adjustments for lower sodium or less seasoning. The place looks a bit worn down, but the food is good, and it appears to be prepared in a sanitary manner.

Typical Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend their steamed dumplings and scallion pancakes. Their home made ice tea is very good but too sweet so I dilute it. Their ingredients are fresh and if you ask for $1-2 extra shrimp it’s really extra on your fried rice.

I don’t like trashing places but I’d prefer to go the whole day without eating over having a meal here.
