Second choice for happy hour, but worked suitably. Portions were on the smaller side, but food was high quality for a more than fair price. Large selection of drinks. Basic lager for beer, but shochu offered with many types of mixers. Food is yakitori and sashimi. Yakitori nicely done over a bed of charcoal, as it should be. Sashimi was fresh and flavorful. Is indeed a standing bar, with indoor smoking.

Nice place , drinks are great but the place is really small so when it is crowded you are barely able to walk around.

This picture says it all.... 200 yen drinks from open till 7pm... It's kinda small and fills up quickly but worth it... Food is also very cheap and delicious.

The food selection, service is excellent, yet to find another izakaya as good as this one.

Always super crowded and difficult to get a place. We always end up outside (summer) or at the stairs on just on a corner on anywhere they can place you, for example on the stairs going to 2ndF. But if you come for happy hour (until 7pm) beer is cheap. The yakitoris are good, no complains. Locals like the place because of its atmosphere (real japanese old mans place) and affordable.
