The chef on shift, Itou— was very hospitable to us, speaking in English and engaging us while the place wasn’t as busy.

It's cheap but they have no english menu. Not foreigner friendly suchi place.

A small little eatery which has surprisingly good and affordable sushi and sashimi! The quality of food here is very good and it delighted me as my first meal in Japan after I touched down from Singapore. The crab soup has a miso base and I slurped up every drop of it! Spent about SGD 16 on the 5 dishes which is really affordable. If I were to have ordered these dishes back home, it would have easily cost me SGD 25. And to those who said that it's not foreigner friendly, I beg to differ! The waitress was really friendly and I also used a little of my broken Japanese but all is well!
