Carriage Crossing And Bakery - Yoder

My husband and I took our family from Tennessee to CCR on Saturday. Everything was wonderful until we went to buy cinnamon rolls. My sister-in-law wanted cinnamon rolls from the bakery case. The older cashier argued, tried to get her to take the ones wrapped in plastic and argued with her. The exchange put a bad taste in all of our mouths. We have NEVER be treated in such a disrespectful manner. I am very disappointed

The turkey and mashed potatoes were amazing, and the sausage is some of the best around. We bought a whole Oreo pie on the way out which was really good later that night and the next day.

Great place. Super clean, seated very quickly despite being a busy lunch crowd. Service was exceptional and the food was delicious and served quickly. I just wish we had room to try and of the delicious looking desserts.

My family has gone here for years and unfortunately it seems the quality of the food has gone down. Their food doesn 't taste the same and they 're cinnamon rolls have changed as well. Last time we were in, and I inquired about the smaller Cinnamon rolls a woman behind the counter informed me they hadn 't made those for years, and she wasn 't very nice about it. We left and went over to the Yoder meat store, and found the smaller cinnamon rolls that we are fond of. Unfortunately, with all the changes at CC and the attitude of some employees it has just turned into a run of the mill eatery that feels quite commercial .

This restaurant was when the Amish Mennonite worked at the restaurant, but now it's . It's now just okay to good. My Pork Chops were okay, Black Eyed Pea has better chops, though. The Mashed Potatoes were okay, the corn was excellent. The dessert is very good, but at least half of the desserts were gonzo. To be fair, it was 6pm on a Saturday. The Host was terrible! He grabbed the menus left us, then put them on the table and left. No dialog whatsoever. The Waitress was very nice, professional and attentive. Used to look forward to Carriage when we were visiting family in Wichita... I think I won't stop next time. Very sad.
