Calico House Restaraunt - Yermo

Very frustrated. We came here because their menu listed several different items available that all sounded delicious.arrive at the place to find they have an Extremely watered down menu of absolute basic food. No indication that this was the case on their website. They are apparently still running their covid menu for 3 years and still have not updated the website to reflect this. Spoke to an employee who stated the owner refuses to fix this and they have to constantly explain this to patrons who come in disappointed. Didn't even try the food because we were so upset, left and went elsewhere after visiting the town.

Calico ghost town is an old silver mine. It funny you still see many Dutch speaking crowed stop here. Overall it is a great experience for visiting old mining town and see how people used to live back in the days of 19th century. The restaurant has a cool atmosphere, food is good and if you find servers like Shaun he will take care of you. Many local handcraft shops and other things to see. It's a day to remember after all. Price per person: $20–30

My burger wasn't bad, the fries were very crispy, and my Arnold Palmer was good. It's certainly not as nice as the impression I got from the website. The chicken dinner is now $5 more and doesn't come with pie. There were flies everywhere, and a large group of foreign tourists took over the place. We got yelled at when we tried to sit at an unmarked table that was reserved for the foreigners. And beware of the surcharge for using a credit card. It's the only place to eat in this tourist heavy ghost town, but you may want to ghost it and eat before you come.
