Charlie's on the Beach - Yeppoon

Fantastic venue, friendly staff, great range of food, good drink range and deals! We booked for a large group of 20 on a Monday night, booking that afternoon. We arrived to a table well prepared for us. Despite the large group on a quiet night, service was really good and friendly from all staff. Kitchen was able to send all our meals together and all were delicious. Menu has all the pub classics and a few more modern dishes, so something for everyone. A good cocktail selection, of both classics and something new, at great value. Venue is well set out, clean and neat, with views out over the water. I couldn't recommend this venue highly enough for a great pub night in Yeppoon.

So beautifully presented. The pearl cous cous was fresh and great with the dressing. Atlantic Salmon was crispy and cooked to my tastes.

On our last trip to Yeppoon we visited the Strand three or four times. Great for lunch or dinner with an excellent pub menu. They really support local talent with live bands and the pub goes on until the wee hours with live music. Right on the main Esplanade with excellent views this hotel caters for just about anybody. Great beer garden out the back typical but robust pub menu, pool tables, gaming room and function room upstairs. Of all the places we visited and as pubs go this would be the best pick for Yeppoon.

Setting is nice and a great spot to enjoy a meal in the aircon with an ocean view. Unfortunately we had a really long wait for our meals over lunch time, with kids meals coming out last. Even the chips that we ordered long before we ordered our meals took about 20-30mins to come out. The meals were quite tasty and there were lots of positive comments thrown around the table. However there were also lots of comments about the size of the meals. The salads had very little calamari or prawns in them and the side order of chips were tiny. I also wasn’t thrilled with the amount of avocado that I got for what was charged. I recommend everyone take the couple of minutes to become a member to save money on your meals, as it is free to join, and can save you a fair amount of money.

Lovely, friendly and attentive staff and good pub food. We had the steak and the Caesar salad. I thought $22.50 for two schooners was a bit much though and the intrusion of the gambling paraphernalia was off-putting.
