Pizzeria La Gitana Yelm

My experience at this restaurant was a complete letdown. The crust was reminiscent of a tortilla, utterly lacking in flavor. To add insult to injury, the pizza had virtually no sauce, leaving each bite dry and unsatisfying. On top of that, the waitress's attitude was rude and unwelcoming. Save your money and skip this place if you're looking for a tasty pizza experience.

I thought I'd try this place, it was voted best pizza in the Nisqually Valley. I feel so sorry for the people living here if this is the best. Its probably the worst pizza I have ever eaten. The crust is as thin as a tortilla. There were 4 little blobs of sausage, 4 slices of unripe tomatoes and 4 leaves of basil. There was so little actual food involved with this tiny pizza that charging $22 for it is just a rip off. I ask you, does that look like a good pizza? Look at it. I put a picture of it on FB. No one thought it looked the least bit appetizing and could not believe the price. Also they leave Sparkyrude responses to bad feedback, which shows what kind of people work there. Absolutely fantastic food, great service, lovely drinks. Wish it was a bigger location. Just a very cramped place.

I have to say, this place isn't for everyone! However, as many reviews mention, it's either fantastic or not so great. The desserts are definitely a five-star highlight. On the other hand, the service can sometimes slip, which detracts from the overall experience.

The owner’s responses to several one-star reviews, including those highlighting snarky and rude behavior from staff, are quite disappointing. I was looking for a place to eat today, but now I’m hesitant to try this restaurant. Based on the photos I've seen, I would recommend avoiding it if you’re hoping for polite service and fresh pizza. Personal attacks are something I cannot accept, and that’s a deal breaker for me.
