The next day, we returned at 6 pm as other places were closed or lacked vegan options. The line was shorter, and we were able to enjoy a full hot bowl this time. The tofu was fresh and soft, and we also had edamame with spicy peanut sauce, which was tasty but not very spicy. It was a complete turnaround from our previous visit, and I would rate this experience 4 out of 5 stars.

The noodle bowl at this restaurant is a delicious 4-star meal, especially when topped with plenty of peanut sauce and additional sauce. The meatballs receive a 3-star rating, making them an acceptable option. The highlight of this location is Artist Point, known for its stunning waterfalls.

I work at Yellowstone National Park for Xanterra and have been here for the past two years (2018 & 2019). Last year, there were very limited options available. When I crave something different, I go to this restaurant to enjoy the vegan wok bowl with tofu, rice, and broccoli, along with the peanut sauce. The peanut sauce adds flavor to the dish, which can be a bit bland without it. Overall, the dish is very filling and delicious.

I did the build your own wok bowl, with tofu and veggies. It was all very bland with no flavor, and none of the sauces were vegan. I put hot sauce on top and was able to choke it down, but would recommend packing a PB&J.

I would recommend The Nutshell as a 4-star option, as long as they include plenty of peanut sauce. The meatballs receive a 3-star rating, as they are decent. The standout feature of this restaurant is Artist Point, which offers views of the waterfalls.
