Stop looking and book a table at Mabu Mabu. It was a hard choice but everything we picked was amazing. The combining of native ingredients into a range of dishes from different cuisines is so well done without being over the top. Don’t forget to grab some of the take home pantry items! Will absolutely be back and recommending to friends

This cafe caught my eye because of the unique menu they have with native Australian ingredients! This was our first time trying Aboriginal Torres Strait food. The staff were nice, the food was pretty good. We ordered Lemon Aspen Fries and we got 3 different types os sauces, Hot Eggs, Island Fried Poussin with a side of Emu Sausage and also the Chocolate and Wattleseed Waffles. For drinks we got a Latte and Wattleseed Hot Chocolate. My least favourite thing was the hot chocolate because it tasted way too watery. My favourite thing would be the Lemon Aspen Fries and the sauces. Overall, it was very interesting and fun to try!

There should be many more of this restaurant across Melbourne, it is an absolute delight to taste and learn about the food of my county. So glad to have found this place. Strongly recommend to everyone.
