Barkley Johnson Deli and Wine

This restaurant is a relaxing and classic bar with a understated atmosphere, making it a great place to meet up with friends. They offer an excellent selection of wines from various regions as well as beers from around the world. The service is top-notch and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Despite being small, it is a popular spot with room for guests to sit and enjoy their time. I personally enjoy their charcuterie board, but they also offer other simple options that others seem to enjoy. Due to the current Covid situation, the restaurant now has more availability for walk-in customers and no longer has long queues waiting to get in. It is a Yarraville icon that deserves support, perfect for a meal before or after a movie.

The wine and food at this restaurant are absolutely delicious! The service is excellent and the ambiance is fantastic. I will definitely be returning here regularly.

This is my favourite wine bar in Melbourne. The place is very intimate, great for a romantic date night, soft lighting, chill background music. The staff are knowledgeable, unpretentious and so friendly, it feels like you're walking into your friends bar! They specialise in old world wine with a few Aussie labels thrown in there too. I'll be back to try the delicious looking cheese and cold meat platter and for more great times. 5 stars!
