Restaurant Balsa Turistica Anaconda

This is a fun place to visit. It sits on the lake and has great views. They always have music. It can be a little loud. The food is good and consistent. Make sure you take a bout ride around the lake after you eat.

The Restaurant is located on Yarinacocha Lake in Pucallpa Peru. The setting is unique. The food is pretty good as well. They generally have live music. The atmosphere is fun! You can hire a boat right next to the restaurant to take you for a ride around the lake. That should cost 40 to 80 soles depending how long you choose to go.

First of all the service is impeccable, prices are incredibly reasonable for everyone. The food is worthy of 5 stars in itself, but overall there are zero complaints from me.

Until visiting Anaconda, I was never really one to order seafood. I always preferred beef or chicken over something swimming. That all changed once I tasted their chicharron de doncella. Even if you are not a seafood eater, like myself, I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and try this delicious dish.

Due to construction work at the port in Yarinacocha, the restaurant has moved into the town. The views may not be as exotic, but the excellence of the food has not diminished. We had Sunday lunch, the variety of Peruvian Amazon cuisine was outstanding, served quickly with excellent service. Food was perfectly prepared. Enjoy!
