Contribuiți la feedbackWhile the food was on the pricier side for Myanmar standards, I really enjoyed it. Simple homely and fuss-free. Wish they didn't charge 600 kyat just for steamed rice though that's a bit over the top. Place was on the 2nd floor up a steep staircase, but still overall good to give back to the society. We came here for lunch before heading over to Rangoon Tea House for snacks and tea. I would say I definitely enjoyed this place better than Rangoon Tea House, which I felt was absolutely overrated.
Noted from google that they are closed on Suns. However, since today is my last day staying in Yangon, still came to check it out try my luck. Turns out that today is my lucky day~ :p,,thanksfully, they have a group reservation, that’s why they are open this Sun. Food is yummy, service is great. My Yangon trip is completed perfectly!!!Full of love~ p.s, don’t let those steep stairs scared you. Btw, the taste of local coffee here is not that impressive : ...
Don't go just because of their interesting social project where they employ street kids...go because their service is super charming and their food is tasty and at a fair price. Portions are not very big..but on the plus side.. by ordering a few dishes you will try more of their local food!
The place is a little hide but you shouldn't be scared... Go upstairs and try this authentic local cuisine. At the same time you will be helping on a social program. Food is good and price ok.
YUUUM!!! Climb those stairs, just do it. The tea leaves salad is really good and I loved the lentils soup. The staff is absolutely lovely and helpful.
