Jing Hpaw Myay - Yangon

A beautiful restaurant where you can enjoy the authentic dishes of the Kachin ethnic group. The food is delicious. Some dishes are very sharp. You must mention the level of spices when you order. Service is excellent. A little expensive.

I'm not an expert for cachin food, so can't comment that it's authenticity, but this place is delicious! The potatoes and cachin roasted chicken were different from your usual and tasty. All curries (which are dry and not like curries) were also good. For those who drink, Kachin rice wine is also a treat.

First time been there, and didn 't know that such an authentic Kachin style cuisines are available at the center point of Yangon. Price is reasonable and some dishes are a little bit expensive because of local ethnic ingredients. Recommend to try Pounded beef and Kachin wine .

My most palate-satisfying meal in Yangon! If you love bird-eye chilis, this place is meant for you. Pulled beef tenderloin and stir-fried boneless chicken in Kachin style were so flavourful. Last but not least, don’t leave this restaurant without sipping the Kachin wine. If you love 梅酒 umeshu (Japanese plum wine), you’ll definitely love Kachin wine. Very casual space with home cooked food. We ordered the spinach salad and the traditional beef and both were very tasty.
