Banian - Yamoussoukro

The restaurant was empty, but the staff was nice and helpful. We shared some appetizers and main dishes among four of us. The aloco was delicious. There is a fish dish that is wrapped in a banana leaf that was really tasty.

Food a exquisite. My favorite dish is the oxtail soup. Interior design is welcoming and very artistic. The service is excellente.

As the Bradt guide said, this is the only proper restaurant in Yamkro. Coming from the dust outside, we were a bit reluctant to be seated on the white chairs. We had dinner and lunch here. Food was delicious, albeit a little on the more expensive side for this side of the world.

Upper class restaurant serving really nice Ivory Coast dishes. Interior is somewhat boring, but the staff is very friendly and the food is great. Lots of parking space as well.
