Sandbar Restaurant Yamba

The setting and service at this restaurant were terrible. If you're looking for bad service and a lot of frustration, this is the place to go. We had made a reservation for a dinner with family and overseas cousins before heading to Yamba. We were surprised to see that the restaurant was empty while other cafes were packed, so we decided to go for a test run. When four of us went for breakfast, three ordered food along with oysters for the table, but when one person only asked for coffee, the waiter ignored them and walked away. We were shocked by his attitude, especially since the restaurant was empty. When the rest of our party joined us and tried to order coffee, the waiter refused to let them sit with us, saying they could only order drinks. We were embarrassed and quickly left the restaurant, canceling our reservation for the following evening. We found another locally managed restaurant with excellent service and hospitality. The Sandbar restaurant did not meet our expectations. I recommend dining elsewhere in Yamba, where there are plenty of options offering great service and hospitality that you would expect in a NSW holiday destination.

The best food and excellent service in Yamba. The French chef and personal touch make it a special experience. Also, great value for money. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Come and have a leisurely breakfast at Sandbar. The staff is friendly, the coffee is good, and the breakfast is delicious. The location is also great, at the bottom of the beach near attractions and Yamba shops.

One of the best meals I had in Australia. the food was perfectly cooked and nicely plated. great dining room with relaxing music. slightly expensive, but worth every dollar.

Great location, great seafood, excellent service. What's not to like (maybe the price but worth it). I had a seafood platter (for creme brulee and espresso martini. Head waiter (didn't get his name) was great.
