Tacos El Rey- West Valley - Yakima

I had the caldo de pollo and tacos de lengua, and both were absolutely fantastic. The caldo was just perfect—light, flavorful broth with tender meat, and just the right amount of rice and tortillas to complement it. The tacos are among the best in the western valley. Don't be misled by the simple decor or local surroundings; this place serves some of the best Mexican food around. Don’t overlook Tacos El Rey!

I absolutely love the Asada tacos and the tortas! However, I wasn't a fan of the enchiladas. My plate consisted of a flat tortilla, then some filling, followed by another flat tortilla on top, with veggies, cheese, and sour cream. I couldn't quite figure out what it was, but it didn't seem like a traditional enchilada to me.

I was here a few times, especially during lunch. I go on there because that is delicious, and the prices for their products are not too expensive for the quality of eating. there were times when the food was not arriving in time, especially because of the number of people present, but that is worth definitiw.

Elaborate Lunch, located behind the mini mart, offers authentic Mexican street food. Their menu features tacos, sopes, quesadillas, tortas, and burritos with a variety of meat options. While the interior lacks personality, it's a great choice for a quick meal or takeout in this part of West Yakima.
