Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Yakima

Great tasting bbq made in Texas style. Meals of 1, 2, or 3 meat plus sandwiches of brisket, ribs, chicken, turkey, pigs and sausage. Plus excellent selection of pages including Okra, corn, beans, Mac n cheese, etc. BBQ sauce is available in sweet, spicy and regular. With groundless drinks and a few desert choices you can have a good meal for about $12-15. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant was clean and the decor was normal Dickeys. We will definitely go back.

While I stayed in the nearby Hilton, I found out that this place had fried okra and was immediately obsessed. The first visit I had a brisket dinner with the fried onions and roasted Okra, and the next time I was added the Mac and cheese with these pages. Both meals were freshly cooked, so the okra and onions were hot, crispy and perfect. You get a lot of food, so I had leftovers every night. Certainly not the healthiest place to eat 2 nights in a row, but very satisfying.

This is one of our family lovers, from grandchildren, the nuggets or grilled cheese sandwiches to the adults go for the baked potato filled with brisket, always excellent

I last rated this place 2 stars and have not been back in years. Came today on a lark, to see if things have changed. They have. The food (Ribs Sides) where MUCH better today. I'd come back again, on purpose. I miss the icecream machine, but with COVID I understand. The lack of napkins and hand cleaning wipes (typical BBQ hand wipes for when you finish eating) was a problem. I guess you could blame that on COVID as well.

Good food, fast service, and nice atmosphere with fitting music. The portion size of the food could've been a little bit bigger considering the amount it cost. They have free ice cream which is cool though and kids eat free on Sundays :
