Adobe Resort Oregon - Yachats

The Adobe Restaurant in Yachats offers stunning ocean views and a diverse menu. During our recent visit on a Friday evening, we were joined by another couple for our third visit in two years. I had reserved a table for 7:00 pm to catch the sunset, but we had a short wait until 7:20 before being seated. Thankfully, we were given a table by the window as requested. We all decided to order from the dinner specials, but unfortunately, the halibut and prime rib were already sold out. We ended up choosing the scallops and steak instead, which did not disappoint. The service was friendly and efficient, making for an enjoyable dining experience despite the initial hiccup with the menu availability.

On Thanksgiving, we had made reservations months in advance, but ended up waiting over an hour past our scheduled time. By the time we were seated, it was dark outside. I was served a meager portion of salty turkey and some ham, with no yams in sight. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Convenient to our hotel. Food was ok, but bland. Service was good and view was nice.

I was disappointed that they served cod instead of salmon in the Sunday buffet.
