Best place to eat near Potos and Pefkari. The food is very good and the portions are big. The local eine is good. We received also homemade hot bread to go with our dishes. I recommend the garlic salad with the fresh bread. The atmosphere is very authentic. I had the same feeling just in Ammoudia region which is a fishermen town. I think it's one of the few authentic places near Potos, Pefkari, Limenaria with good food at corect prices. The exact opposite of this tavern is the one named Kastro from Kastro town. Which costs a lot and gives you low quality and quantity. Avoid tourist scams like Kastro and go to good and honest ones like Klimataria. Wheelchair accessibility: Level is flat. No stairs.

We found this place suddenly when we drove around the island of Thassos with our rental car and passed this huge Ukrainian flag in the Tavern. For some reason, Google claimed that this place is open daily only 11:30-12:00 (which means about 30 minutes a day). But we have here for lunch at 13:00, fortunately, and had our BEST lunch on the island! This tavern looked like a very traditional Greek place and had the best food and atmosphere. I recommend this place to everyone. Thank you.
