As soon as you walk in, you get a warm greeting and then the place opens up in front of you. How many places do you know that have white tablecloth quality, reasonable prices, an excellent cellar and a swimming pool right there? The food is fantastic. It 's warm and buzzy and very Spanish. It 's got a lovely view and it keeps you cool even in the hottest time of the day and the boys and girls look after you with smiling professionalism even when the place is full. I went yesterday August 14th (and it was a hot one) for lunch and had to bring more people there that same evening for dinner. And they loved it too. Wonderful. If the Spanish go there, it has to be good. Real Spanish fare, they do it beautifully.
Had lunch here on 12th October, delicious paella followed by an apple tart for dessert. Will certainly return soon.
Three of us went for late morning coffee by the pool on a sunny January day. We liked the location and the service was good. We looked at the menu and it appears good value at €12 for three courses. Drinks are not included. We will be going for lunch next week, as we are staying near at hand.
Very disappointing visit to this restaurant today. We had family visiting from the uk so I booked a table a month in advance and asked for an inside table but with views of the pool. We arrived and our name and booking wasn’t even on the list. The table they gave us was by the pool and was dirty and sticky from people who had used it who were swimming and had swimwear on and coveted in sun tan lotion. I asked if we could move as we had dressed up and everyone around us was in swimwear. The waiter said no and was quite rude and just walked away. Every time someone jumped in the pool we got wet. We should have just left but we had already got drinks. We ordered paella which was ok but nothing special. We definitely won’t return after this last visit.
It's a nice place and the service is fine. They really packed a lot of chairs and tables in. Of course they need to many money but it makes the swimming pool near the tables less relaxing than it should be. Not much space to chill out. The food was pretty good, although our paella was slightly under done and not a lot of it. It's very disappointing that a proper restaurant like this doesn't have any draft beer. Overall it was nice, just not quite the relaxing experience I was hoping for. I imagine it'll be nicer outside of peak summer, so I'll give them another try sometime.
