My husband became ill after eating at this restaurant. The sweet tea was not what we expected, as it tasted like watered-down unpleasant foot water. The food was unappetizing and the portions were small. The waiter provided poor service. "I should have..."

The food is excellent with generous portions. It is recommended to go for lunch as the prices are cheaper before 3pm. The staff, including the waitresses, are very friendly.

After a long day of travel, we decided to stop at this restaurant. It was empty and we had to wait 8-10 minutes before anyone approached us to take our order. Once they finally came over, they only wanted to take our drink order. When we said we were ready to order and had been waiting for almost 10 minutes, the person started arguing with us, so we decided to leave. This used to be a good place to eat, but if customer service isn't a priority, we will be taking our business elsewhere.

We all enjoy Applebee's and their menu. Our server was excellent - quick, polite, and helped us save money based on our order. The appetizer arrived promptly and was well-prepared, but the Bourbon Street Chicken & Shrimp lacked flavor and was quite bland. I had higher expectations given the reputation of the chain and their usual quality of food.
