The Furamar - Wyre

This is a hidden gem of a takeout restaurant with absolutely fantastic food. The dishes are cooked authentically and from scratch, so be prepared to wait around an hour - but it's definitely worth it. I have tried several dishes and all of them have been superb and generously portioned. Forget the expensive restaurants that serve overpriced dishes, this place consistently delivers high-quality meals. I can't praise it enough, and I consider myself a foodie. I challenge anyone to disagree if they appreciate good food.

Used loads of Chinese over the years but this must be the worst.at least half hour wait and food was terrible.curry completey tasteless waste of money

The Furamer is a takeout-only restaurant, but the food they delivered to our house (with free delivery) was excellent and the best we've had in the area in a long time. We started with salt and spicy spare ribs, which were really tasty and had plenty of meat on them. We also ordered 1/4 of Crispy Aromatic Duck and Sesame Prawn Toast. For our main course, we shared a Chicken Curry with chips. The whole meal only cost £21.90, and we were amazed at the value and quality for that price. You can contact them at 01253 391353.

I waited in the restaurant for 45 minutes for my takeout order. The food was terrible and I was initially told it would only be a 10 minute wait. I asked twice for an update and was told it would be another 10 minutes each time.

Lived in the area for 2 years and always drove back to our old Chinese. Summers night so thought I’d walk here and give it a try. 35 minute wait (cope with this on a Friday night). Got home, one soup missing... ...chicken sweetcorn more like jelly! ...spring rolls quite nice (but how can you go wrong) ....chicken fried rice bland ...king prawn Satay VILE basically five prawns and onions in a sweet ish sauce almost chicken korma like...really finding it difficult to describe. Honestly I have never had a satay like it. The bin loved it!!
