But there were no such problems here, the chips were fresh out of the fryer. I had been craving a pint of Guinness and finally got one with a Shamrock pattern on the foam after waiting for a bit, and it was worth it. These were the best chips I've had on this side of Shrewsbury. The workers were all friendly and seemed to really care about their craft. My only regret was that the place closed before the game was over, because I would have happily had another round. Like Shrewsbury, this place definitely knows how to make good chips.
The staff is very friendly, the service is quick, and the food quality remains consistent even when the restaurant is busy.
This used to be my go-to restaurant for the past three years with no issues with the food or service. However, when I visited today, I noticed that the staff at the front were wearing masks as expected, but two others in the back were not wearing masks at all. What's the point of enforcing safety measures at the front if they are not being followed in the back, which is open to everyone? I was frustrated enough to leave my spot in the waiting line and two others also decided to leave.
Personal, where is full protective equipment, screens up and only people in the load apart in the timepieces, fast service when they order, how people they are at the same time, so not standing around for a long time! fish war...fab fresh and hot and veg friendly staff
On a Friday we enjoy fish and chips, and a local load, lately the chips were warm and the fish was not good, possibly much earlier cooked and then not best. this happened several times. the purchased time was at...tea time, so should be fresh and hot, but not so!
