Contribuiți la feedbackAfter reading all the reviews about this restaurant, I have to say that I believe most of the negative comments are from Indian or other people who work at competing Indian restaurants. I have been coming here since it changed ownership and I have tried every Indian restaurant in Werribee and Hoppers Crossing. This restaurant offers the closest thing to authentic Indian cooking. The staff are friendly and funny, the chefs are fantastic, and whether you dine in or take away, the food is brilliant. I highly recommend this place. In fact, I recommended it to an Indian person and they were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was.
The previous restaurant, Daani Paani, has closed down and in its place is a new restaurant. I had stopped going to this location in the past, but when a friend mentioned that a new restaurant had opened at the same spot, I decided to give it a try. I am thrilled that I did, as it turned out to be an amazing place with outstanding service. It can be difficult to find authentic Indian cuisine, but I am happy to say that this restaurant offers just that. The menu is impressive and the dishes have the perfect level of spice. The flavors are just like what I remember from back home. The family who runs the restaurant are lovely and welcoming people. Every item on the menu is delicious, so you can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Don't miss out on trying the kulfi ice cream with paan flavor - it is delicious. I was so impressed by the dish that I forgot to take a picture - I only stopped eating when it was gone. The service is great, the staff is friendly, the food is tasty, and the location offers ample parking.
I have read many reviews of this restaurant and I feel that there is a lot of unwarranted negativity towards this place. I personally eat here once every two weeks and occasionally even weekly. The portion sizes are good, the prices are cheap, and the food tastes delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone, as they offer a mild option that can be enjoyed by those who do not like spicy food (not all Indian dishes are spicy anyway). If you are looking to try something new, you can't go wrong with dining here. My friends love it, my girlfriend loves it, and I love it. Enjoy!
Down to earth place, with limited service and average ambience, serving delicious food, both for take away as well as for dining. Reasonably priced, five persons had meals for AUD 63 only.o
I have now bought from Dana Pani twice (takeaway) both times have been amazing. I got my friends involved the second time they all agreed that it was a very good curry. Everyone was impressed with my choice. We had the tikka masala, steamed rice, onion bhaji special mention to the garlic naan, one of the best I’ve had!!!!
