Schlotzsky's - Wylie

When I arrived at the restaurant, the service was slower than I had anticipated, especially since we were the only customers there. I ordered the Turkey Bacon Club, while my son opted for a Turkey sandwich. I really enjoyed my meal, but my son said he preferred Firehouse Subs. As for the chips, they didn’t meet my expectations. I chose the salt and vinegar flavor, which I usually like elsewhere, but this bag had an overpowering taste that made it hard to continue eating. Fortunately, the staff kindly exchanged them for me, which I appreciated. I then tried the BBQ flavor, but I found them less enjoyable compared to chips from other places. Overall, I liked my main dish, and I’m okay with skipping the chips, so the experience was still positive.

We go to this restaurant on Wednesday nights for the buy-one-get-one-free pizza and flatbreads. It's a wonderful way to enjoy a tasty meal with our family at an excellent price!

We placed our order and waited for nearly 20 minutes while the staff member who took our order went to clean the restrooms, and another employee just sat at a table eating. The most disappointing aspect was that Schlotzky's is famous for its special buns, but the buns on our sandwiches were barely toasted around the edges. Overall, the experience was quite disappointing.

After some time, we chose to sit on a nearby bench, hoping someone would notice us, but that didn't happen either. Eventually, we stood up to leave, and while a few staff members made eye contact with us, they didn’t say anything. With service like this, I seriously doubt they'll be in business for much longer. We definitely won't be coming back.

My favorite sandwich shop! Everything is always fresh and delicious. Although the prices are slightly higher, I think they are completely warranted. I've never had a dish I didn't enjoy, and I often sample various items from the entire menu. Their soups, salads, sandwiches, and pizzas are all fantastic!
