The Royal Oak - Wychavon

Recently reopened under new management so thought I 'd give it a try. Very disappointing... no atmosphere, very poor hospitality and service. Food was 'ok ' but not what I would have expected based on how it was before. Definitely will not return or recommend Service: 2 Location: 4

Small but adequate seating. Meals were large and very good.

We were visiting the area and stopped off for Sunday lunch. It was delicious we were impressed by the quality of the food and it was really great value.the staff were friendly helpful and we had a lovely chat with the new head chef. Keep up the great work Service: 5 Location: 5

Superb location, in the middle of the pretty, clean, historic market town of Evesham. The hotel is 400 years old, so it 's a bit higgledy piggedly, but that just adds to the 'olde worlde ' experience. Draught beers in the bar, very good. Staff magnificent. Highly recommended.
