B. Neumann - Würzburg

After a great small train tour of the city, we decided to have a coffee break at this nearby café. It was our mistake. We were taken to a table in the hot sun. We asked if we could have the umbrella, next to us,...raised. They said no, because “lightning was forecast”. Not a joke, the waitress was serious. After complaining to another staff member, they put up the umbrella. Waited for a very long time for 2 coffee’s from a machine sitting behind the bar. After removing the froth, I may have had a few sips of actual coffee. Staff were difficult, abrupt and not friendly. We should have gone somewhere else.

Schnitzel and Flammkuchen we got to the museum and after driving we gotta eat close by. Nice environment, good service and average prices 15 20 eur each

We had flavourful flammenkuchen for lunch at this cafe adjoined to the Residenz. On a hot summer’s day, being seated in the garden was a lovely way to enjoy our meal. A good break after visiting and reasonably priced.

After a train ride from Frankfurt and a tour of the Residenz it was certainly time to relax. The restaurant is next door to the Residenz and being a lovely sunny day we ate in the garden Very good but unobtrusive service, good food and...a nice bottle of red wine made a perfect finish to our visit to Wurzburg.

Very nice restaurant right next to the residence and parking. portions are sizable and the choices are great. Sitting outside is lovely, but the wind was annoying. highly recommend eating here.
