Trolly Stop - Wrightsville Beach

There's nothing quite like enjoying a delicious hot dog on a warm day at the beach! The fresh rolls are beautiful, the hot dogs are perfectly slim, and the toppings are absolutely delicious!

I had a fantastic meal at the original Trolley Stop. I tried the American Dog, which comes with mustard and chili onions, and there are many other varieties to choose from. We ordered six hot dogs and three bags of chips, which was enough to feed three adults for just $25. We brought our own drinks and enjoyed them outside. While there are no fries on the menu, there is a nice selection of chips to choose from. Parking costs $3 per hour, so be sure to bring quarters since the older meters don't accept credit cards.

You have to say that they are quite expensive, but I still buy their hot dogs because they are so delicious! I don't usually eat hot dogs, but every time I go to the beach, I have to have a Trolley dog.

After a day on the beach, what sounds better than a hotdog and soda? You walk in and get to choose the type of meat and then the fixings and they are QUICK. The only downside is they are a cash only business, meaning you are screwed if you like to travel to the beach with a card you can keep in your pocket while you swim.
