Contribuiți la feedbackGoing down hill. Have been here 3 years in a row. The food is overpriced and not many choices if you don't like fennel. Skip this just order from the pool bar or from the lunch menu.
We entered a spacious dining room at 7:00 p.m. on a Saturday night, only to find one other table occupied, which should have been a warning sign. The server was friendly, and our cocktails arrived promptly, but that was the highlight of the evening. The menu presented to us was different from what was available online, and the options were quite limited. Although we started our meal at a relaxed pace, we experienced an excessively long wait for our entrees. After serving our meals, the server was nowhere to be found. Additionally, the food was overly spiced, and the presentation of the dishes was lacking. We finished our meals feeling quite disappointed. Dirty dishes sat on our table while we waited for the check. Overall, the experience was unacceptable for any restaurant, but it was particularly disappointing for a fine dining establishment. There seems to be a significant issue with management, and I would be hesitant to return until these problems are addressed. I cannot recommend this restaurant in its current state. Diners should be cautious.
We had a reservation and we left the beach to go to lunch and when we got there they told us their lot was full even though we saw two spots labeled valet. When we asked if they could valet they said no and when I called to talk to a manager I was told “that sucks” truly shocking experience
Ade reservations for 7:30pm on a Friday. Thought we were lucky to even get them. When we arrived, there was no one else eating. A few tables were dirty where diners has been but no one else. 7:30pm is late for us normally but at the beach, I assumed it would be full. The inside of restaurant had an elevated cafeteria feel to it. We sat outside and the view was wonderful of the garden and ocean. The decor seemed dated as well. Overall food was good a couple choices were vegetarian friendly. Tried to order the pasta pesto but told they ran out of ingredients. Hubby ordered scallops for his entree. His plate has 4 scallops on top of mushrooms. That was it and cost $43! That was disappointing. I had soup and salad which was good but not at the prices paid. The inside of the hotel lobby and gardens look wonderful but the restaurant definitely could use upgrades. Seems a shame.
Hotel is great except I had to fix the bathroom door to get it to move. Menu is limited but decent. I learned why nobody eats here. The prices are premium and the service is nonexistent. It took almost 3 hours for the dinner to arrive. If it was supposed to bed cold, it was warm. If it was meant to be hot, it was cold. No discount, no apology. They were quick with the bill though. All evening plans had to be canceled. It was a huge waste of time. They should close the restaurant and put in a decent hot tub or something. This is not a resort, but it has potential. Fortunately for them, most people are too old to bother with reviews. I speak on behalf of my fellow guests who are retired.
