Went for xmas family meal about 40 of us dec 9th. Food was spot on. Turkey dinner was superb and loads of it. Chocolate praline was to die for. Will defo visit this place again Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nice pub. Quiet when we were there after 2pm on a weekday. Just had a sandwich, good size portion Price per person: £1–10 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Parking space: Plenty of parking

My daughter and I recently attended the RedLion for a meal at short notice, and were pleasantly surprised at the warm reception which we received. The bar was relatively quiet for the time and the day. We went to the bar and placed our order, which was served quite briskly ......the steak, with side salad and trimmings, and a similar burger without the roll, as my daughter is allergic to bread Half way through our meal we were approached by three fellow diners, who made themselves known,...................old friends who had moved from the area, more than twenty years previously, So the Red did us proud, out of the blue , and pink with embarrassment ,we enjoyed a golden evening and the food wasn't bad either. Dietary restrictions: My daughter is allergic to breads so enjoyed her burgher minus thar item butane up for it with side salad.
