Tito's - Worthing

If you're searching for beautifully prepared food, a pleasant ambiance, a warm welcome, and excellent service, then Tito's is the place for you. This restaurant consistently exceeds expectations and comes highly recommended.

My husband tried to ignore it and enjoy his meal, but it was futile. He went to check with the staff to see if they could get someone to address the issue, and they simply replied that it was beyond their control. He explained that we were paying a lot for our meal and wine but couldn't enjoy it due to the constant noise. The manager eventually came over in a confrontational manner, stating it wasn't his fault that the alarm was going off, that he had prepared our food, and implied we were being unreasonable. He told us we could either leave or stay. My husband clarified that we loved the food and weren't complaining about that; we were just unable to enjoy it because of the noise. The manager reiterated his ultimatum to stay or go, but since the alarm had just turned off, we chose to stay. However, after that conversation, I was very upset. The manager made us feel as though we were to blame, and I couldn't enjoy my now-cold meal. I suggested we should only pay for our wine and the portion of the meal we had eaten. Instead, the manager told us to leave without paying and said we should never come back. This experience left us feeling embarrassed, upset, and angry—what a way to ruin our special day. Since this incident, the manager has followed me on Facebook and asked me to take this review down. I have a feeling I might not be the only one he has tried to silence.

I had a wonderful first visit to Tito. It was a warm day, and the side doors were open, creating a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed two dishes of black shell and a beautiful bottle of white wine.

Excellent service, took on an extra couple to my booking at no notice at all. Fabulous evening once again.

Love the food at Titos and the new layout. Would like to have half a litre of sangria for two people, as a litre is too much.
