The John Selden - Worthing

This restaurant offers a great selection of beers, including a variety of unique foreign brands that are actually brewed in Northampton. The Abbott Ale I tried was excellent. The food was solid pub fare, featuring some less common options like liver, bacon, and the steak and kidney pudding that I enjoyed. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. The staff were lovely, and the prices were quite reasonable. I’m looking forward to returning for a pizza soon!

Absolutely a gem! This place likely serves the best beer in the South. Wow! The food is also excellent. Definitely try the fish and chips! We found the locals to be very friendly and quite fun! Thank you!

I had my first visit to this spacious pub, and it was a great experience. The place was clean, had a pleasant atmosphere, an excellent selection of drinks, and the staff were very friendly.

Helpful staff (we had a large electric power chair) the Sunday dinner was excellent and several apples and more zider.

Popped in for lunch, really friendly welcome. Nice clean tables and the beer was spot on. The bar staff were so friendly. What surprised me was just how much choice there was for food. My mother had cheesy chips with bacon bits, which were actually cut up freshly cooked bacon rashers. I had a panini with bacon, mozzarella and tomato. Again freshly cooked, the salad and coleslaw it came with was fresh and plentiful. This really is a gem of a pub. Can't recommend enough. Thank you!
