Sunny And Greek Taverna - Worthing

We made a reservation for 7 people but arrived at 6:45, hence the lower rating for ambiance. Despite this, we received very friendly service and the restaurant eventually filled up, creating a good atmosphere. The owner was working alone as two staff members were out sick, but he remained friendly and jovial throughout. However, the drinks were on the pricey side.

My choice of starter and desert were not available so rather disappointing overall. The food we had was tasty.

Traditional Greek/Cypriot restaurant. Food excellent value and good portions. Took home some Backlava it was the best we have had yet. Would definitely go again.

The food was very disappointing. We were acquainted with the young waiter and didn't want to ruin his evening, but the overall experience was quite shocking. We were eager to leave and I am surprised that the restaurant is still in business.

SUNNY has been one of the longest running restaurants in Worthing and you can tell why . Superb food , value for money and the owner and his staff are so welcoming and very family orientated. The owner spoke to us for some time especially to my mother about the past which they both enjoyed . He is deservedly proud of his establishment and I cannot recommend it enough.
