The service was very welcoming and friendly, with a smile. I ordered poached eggs on toast with avocado, but there was no butter on the toast so it was quite dry. The avocado was served separately in small dishes on the side, which didn't look appetizing and was only average in taste. However, the great service made up for the food quality.

I absolutely love Bites! The staff is incredibly friendly and the selection of gluten-free cakes is fantastic and delicious. I always like to try new things, but their gluten-free tuna toastie is especially delicious.

During lunch, the restaurant had few customers, which should have been a warning sign. There was an odd smell in the restaurant. The coffee was decent, but the brie and bacon toasted sandwich on white bread lacked care in presentation. It was served on a plain white plate with stale white tortilla chips, with no garnish. The overall look was unappealing, and the taste was not great. The staff seemed disinterested, playing on their phones instead of attending to customers. The cafe was cold, prompting us to leave early, along with only two other remaining customers. It's no surprise that I won't be returning to this restaurant. I regret not complaining, as my partner asked me not to, but I should have spoken up.

Yes, Bites was good, and I have had a chance to talk to the owner/operator a few times. You can tell he has pride in his business. Everything was of good order in his cafe, and I have no complaints at all. Everything was good, and as you would expect.

Amazing tea, breakfast cooked to perfection (special off menu choice). Staff very polite, informative and helpful. So good that went back the next day. Reasonably priced. Highly recommended
