Mickey's Hot Dogs - Worth

I ordered a Vienna hot dog with everything, assuming that being near Chicago I wouldn't need to specify a "Chicago dog." Unfortunately, it only came with onion, relish, pickle, and mustard. I was a bit disappointed, but it still tasted good.

However, the cash situation isn't even the worst part. The place is truly disgusting. Everything feels sticky, old, and greasy. No one on staff wears gloves, and despite the owner's reassurances to customers, I've seen him go from the register to touching my food without washing his hands in between. I believe he does clean up, but witnessing him go directly from handling money to my meal convinced me he didn't wash his hands at all. Hand sanitizer is simply not enough in this case. I strongly advise against eating here; instead, head to Windy City down the road. Their food is better, and at least it feels somewhat cleaner.

What a disappointing experience. I recently had a craving for a hot dog and fries, so I decided to try out a new place—Mikey's, since their sign prominently features hot dogs and fries. Unfortunately, the hot dog, advertised as Vienna Beef, had an unusual pinkish off-white color that I've never seen in a Vienna before. There were no sport peppers, tomatoes, or celery salt, which are usually standard toppings. While the pickle and the amount of onions were good, the overall flavor was lacking. The fries were hot, but once again, they had no seasoning. Overall, it wasn't the hot dog experience I was hoping for.

Even if you are very hungry, do not use this place stomach pain and diarrhea are guaranteed. SUPER DIRTY PLACE ,GUYS YOU ARE SELLING FOOD.

Great dog and fries place. Plus they have the mythical Orange Bang!
