Wein- und Bierschanke - Worms

Restaurant near the city centre. I had spare ribs with Fritten. They were good, but not excellent. The flesh is very close to the bones. Excellent ribs lose the flesh from the bones. Also no BBQ sauce on the ribs only in a separate small bowl (I used it for the frits). But anyway, very tasty and with 600 g a good part. And the best; the price is quite unbeatable. Beer was good, great staff and everything in a good restaurant. Unfortunately, I can’t give a “good”. With TripAdvisor you can only choose between sufficient and very good. My experience is exactly in between, but I cannot give a “very good”.

We came for the flame cake and were not disappointed, huge portions, generous toppings and really delicious! If there are two or more of you in a group, I recommend each person gets two different toppings on their flame cake to increase the variety on the table. I must have tried four or five different and they are all great!

We had the flammkuchen and it was amazing! They are large and enough to share. They were very busy, even on a cold weeknight. Staff was very friendly. Definitely recommend!

We stopped here to get some of their amazing flammkuchen . They have a big variety of different options. I went for the brie and lingonberries and absolutely loved it. We had three other ones and they where all delicious. Service is good and friendly although a little slow. This might have been due to the fact that they had the Wormser Festspiele in town and the restaurant was very busy. In general very good value for the money! I 'm looking forward going there again.

I simply love the Wein- und Bierschanke... It a simple place, not fancy at all, with lots of character and great food. Everything you order there has something special... the Flammkuchen are just great, the meat skewers that they hang from the lamps (in the photo above) are great option!! Everyone will find something delicious to eat here!! But like I said, bring your light spirit and don't expect nothing fancy!
