Chashu Ramen Izakaya - Worcester

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time because I love ramen and finally went. Overall it was okay, but left a little disappointed. I would still enjoy eating there if someone else wanted to go but I don't think I will choose to go there myself. Started off with the brussel sprouts which were very yummy. Crispy, and a nice buttery dressing. The pork belly bao was also very good, but was very small for the price and you only get one. I then had the Moyashi tonkotsu which I enjoyed and liked the pork belly. I think the broth could have had a little more depth of flavor though. My wife had the classic udon with shredded sesame chicken which unfortunately was not good at all. The broth was nice and garlicky, but the chicken was extremely dry and chewy and tasted like a plain boiled chicken. Maybe this was a one off mistake for the chicken though. The Kasutādo custard was very creamy and I liked the streusel topping, but it was extremely small for the price. Overall, I had mixed feelings on my soups but I’m sure there are lots of other good things on the menu. The prices and portions especially for the bao and custard were off though.

Great value. Reasonable prices for top notch food. Extensive menu, clean dining room bathrooms, good atmosphere. The music was not too loud. Even the desserts were well prepared and unique. Incredible food with a stellar vibe. Can’t go wrong with anime and eats! They have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages with creative cocktails that you will be sure to love. Great for date night or that lone wolf foodie! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had no idea this place was here! What a lovely atmosphere inside and friendly, personable service. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and suggested really great dishes. The cocktails/drink selection are great and their sushi bar has nice variety even for vegetarians! I got the spicy vegan miso Ramen and the portion was so large I was able to take it for lunch the next day. Highly recommend for a splurge night out! Service: Dine in
