I've heard so many good things about this restaurant from friends, so my husband and I finally decided to check it out tonight. The atmosphere is charming, and the portions are generous. The food was outstanding— I had the fried chicken with BBQ, and my husband enjoyed the catfish. The collard greens were some of the best I've ever had, even surpassing those found south of the Mason-Dixon line, and the yams were amazing as well! However, what impressed me even more than the food was the excellent service and the friendly staff. I can't recommend this place highly enough. You absolutely need to go!

Not all soul food is created equal, and I typically avoid it at restaurants to spare myself the disappointment of bland macaroni and cheese. However, my husband recently brought home Addie Lee's Soul Food, and wow… this food was so incredible it brought a tear to my eye. It felt like being a little girl again at my grandmother's kitchen table, with its red Formica top and a lazy Susan filled with salt, pepper, hot sauce, and vinegar, enjoying her fried chicken, sweet cornbread, and yellow rice. I had to resist the urge to devour it all in one sitting. Maybe it’s the hormones (I'm pregnant with twins), but this meal truly moved me. I recommend Addie Lee's to everyone I encounter as it offers some of the best food in town! The food is delicious, the staff is fantastic, and there's soulful music playing while you wait, making it a perfect spot to dine!

A little bit of soul in the heart of Worcester! The food here is amazing! It's so nice to have a good soul food place in Worcester. The fried chicken was nice and crispy on the outside and moist inside, the yellow rice was incredibly flavorful, Mac n cheese was on point, and the cornbread. The. Cornbread. Amazing! I wanted to order a pan when we left. Topped off with delicious peach cobbler. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.
