Flamingo Jack's Grill Pub - Wooster

We ordered their fries, a burger with mac and cheese, and pulled pork, and my son requested his pulled pork be served without mac and cheese, which they happily accommodated. I had a combination of pork and mahi mahi tacos, while my wife opted for a shrimp po' boy salad. I also tried their she crab soup, which was outstanding and loaded with real shredded crab meat. The only suggestion for improvement would be that the banana margarita could benefit from a stronger banana flavor. Overall, we enjoyed a fantastic meal and plan to return next fall when my son resumes classes.

I have eaten here hundreds of times and it has never disappointed us. Their truffle fries are fantastic. My favorite dish is the Boursin Philly cheesesteak salad.

Denise is the flamingo kid she kicked ass tonight and we said her name right lol D nice. The tacos were delicious they were half-price on Tuesday my friend Mississippi really enjoyed them and he had the IPA great lakes beer if he would've had to it would've hammered him. I am out of practice the place has great lighting in great music I will come back for sure.

I'm not sure what happened to the taste buds of all the people that gave this place five stars. It's a hole in the wall dive bar, they have a very interesting and unique menu that held a lot of potential, but fell short. I tried the candied bacon and shrimp Asian inspired nachos. Awesome presentation, awesome idea, but fell short on flavor and shrimp. Beer was cold, it would be a good place to hang out and have a drink. And the menu would definitely cater to people that I've had several drinks.

Not sure why Flamingo Jack's isn't 5 star! This is my new favorite restaurant/bar in all of Ohio! We ordered 6 different menu items and nothing disappointed! Absolutely outstanding food! We just happened to be in Wooster to buy some furniture and our salesperson said we should try this place while in town. We live an hour away but will be returning often. Place was super clean, the staff and owner were amazing and offered great service. Great job Gary (owner).
